- Apply: You’ll need to submit two applications:
- A Plan Check application (opens in a new tab) which is for the Environmental Health Specialist to determine if you qualify to operate.
- And a Permit Application (opens in a new tab).
- Food Safety Certification: You will need to provide a Food Safety Manager Certificate.
- Wait for Inspection: Note, a permit to operate will not be issued until an initial inspection is completed.
- Fees: The application fees are:
- Plan Check Application: $135/hour minimum. Additional hours billed in 15-minute increments.
- Annual Permit Fee: $269. Note that fees are non-refundable.
